Every day we make decisions. What to wear, what to eat, what to do or not do. Sometimes our decisions are more complex and require research, self analysis, or an abundance of faith. Difficult decisions, such as health, finances, or life altering decisions should take much more thought than the blue shirt or chicken dinner decisions.
I’ve always been told “God has a plan for your life”, and I truly believe there is a higher being that has my life mapped out. So each day I am thankful for the life I’ve been given and all the adventures I encounter along the way. Do I always make the “right” decisions? No! Everyone makes mistakes and occasionally makes a “wrong” decision. It’s part of life, maturing, and finding your way. You learn from your mistakes and vow to make better decisions in the future.
Disease, financial problems, or any catastrophic event can send your life into turmoil. Yet you still get to make decisions! How do I put my life back on track? What is the best course of action to handle this? What positive changes can I make for this journey? They may not be pleasant decisions, but they still need to be made. God isn’t going to help me decide on what to wear, but with prayer and faithful guidance, I can make those health, financial, and life changing decisions.
Prayer is so powerful. When you face those difficult decisions, pray for guidance. Send your worries and anxiety to Him. He has the plan for your life! Do your research, make the changes you can, and pray! He will guide you, protect you, and carry you through your troubled decisions.
